in 2011 the specs of both the ps3 and 360 will look more than a little daated. 6 years is plenty of time imo.

there was a fair few people on here saying thath the 12th of june equalled the end of the 360 and what-not. a few people did predict that that mgs wouldn't move masses of harware though.
to compare, gta saw a hardware spike for the ps3 in the uk of 127%, and the 360 125% and that was reported by the same people/company/website.

after the expensive abortion the first two getaways were, i can understand sonys caution. coupled with the fact that killzone is eating more money than any other....sony have made a sound decision imo.

good post. the delay was for blu-ray! the specs of the ps3 were finalised around the same time as the 360s. and the first and second party devs have had their kits since sometime 05. killzone, gran tourismo and mgs have been indevelopment since 05. as you correctly stated, there is no generation gap.
jamie foxx: no console has been maxed in two years ever!! the longer the devs have with the hardware, the more they will squeeze out of it. killzone and gran tourismo look so damn good...

when i stick my wii on, me and the missus dont start oohing and aahing about our silly avatars. we made them when we first set-up the console, then that that was it.
just look at the avatars on here, they rarely represent the people, just in some cases the persons favourite games or just trying to be the coolest picture.

the ps3 doesn't have the best graphics card known to a console, and it's already noted and stated on many places that the 360 card outperforms the rsx..not by much, but still enough to make your fanboy twisted knowledge null and void.
